Audit a Class

Alumni who graduated from CIU are eligible to audit one class per semester, up to the level of their degree. Online classes are not available for audits.

Course Search — Click on course search and select the term you wish to audit to see available classes.

Courtesy Audit Submission Form — download, complete, and submit to the Registrar’s office. There is a $25 processing fee.

Career Services Platform/Handshake

Handshake is CIU’s online career services platform that provides CIU alumni & students access to career resources and job opportunities. Click here to access Handshake and additional career resources.

You do NOT need a “.edu” email address to create a Handshake account.

Fitness Center

The Moore Fitness Center is a full gym located on CIU’s campus behind the McQuilkin classroom building. Visit the fitness enter website for hours.

Alumni memberships are available for purchase and include their immediate families and dependent children up to 21 years old. $45/6 months or $75/year. Contact Stefan Vasiloff, Assistant AD of Facility/Game Operations, for more information: stefan.vasiloff@ciu.edu, 803-807-5242.

Guest Rooms

Alumni can stay in the guest rooms for one free night per year, per family. Additional nights for alumni cost $75. Reservations must be made online. For questions, call 803-807-5525 or email guestrooms@ciu.edu.

Please note: Reservations can be made under alumna/us name and only alumni may utilize the reservation. Benefit not applicable during Homecoming.

Meals

Alumni may receive three free meals in the cafeteria per year. Tickets are available in the Alumni office.

Refer a Student

Refer a student for a $1000 renewable Alumni Referral Grant Scholarship to CIU by encouraging the student to apply for free by using the waiver code CIUBOUND and listing you as the student’s alumni contact. You can also request free CIU promotional items to give to students that are interested by filling out this form.
