Homemaker/Businesswoman/Bible Teacher. Elizabeth's life is a vivid picture of faithfulness and victory. Several years after graduating from CBC, Elizabeth and her mother founded the Rikard Nursing Homes, where Elizabeth served for 28 years. In the mid-80s, Elizabeth, using her knowledge of the Word and her spiritual gifts, began teaching an adult Sunday School class at Lexington Baptist Church, South Carolina. She also held a weekly Bible study at a local prison as well as a lunch-hour Bible class for businesswomen. From 1976 to 1993, she served on the Board of Trustees at CIU. Through Elizabeth's life experiences she clearly witnessed the truth of Romans 8:28: "For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Elizabeth passed away in 2017.
